Jamie & Joseph’s Wedding at W10 Wedding Venue | A Joy-Filled Day of Faith, Love & Swing Dancing
Jamie and Joseph’s wedding day at W10 Wedding Venue (4580 Jensen Rd, Valley WA. 99181) was a heartfelt celebration filled with deep emotion, meaningful faith moments, and joyful swing dancing with family and friends. From their golden-hour engagement session on a family friend’s farm to their prayer-centered ceremony and energetic reception, their love story unfolded in a way that felt intentional, personal, and full of light.
As a Washington Wedding Photographer, it was an honor to capture both their engagement photos and their wedding day — preserving the moments that mattered most to them. Some love stories feel steady and gentle. Others feel electric and joyful. Jamie and Joseph’s story is beautifully both. They are kind, intentional, and deeply in love.
Farm Engagement photos at Sunset | April 5, 2025
Jamie and Joseph’s engagement session on April 5, 2025 took place on a family friend’s property, offering a peaceful, rustic backdrop that perfectly reflected their grounded and genuine relationship. With open land, farm animals nearby, and a breathtaking sunset, the session felt relaxed and intimate.
The warm evening light highlighted the quiet connection between them, it was impossible not to notice the way Joseph looks at Jamie, there’s an unmistakable tenderness there, the kind that doesn’t need words. The quiet glances, the easy laughter, the way they naturally move toward each other, it all spoke volumes about how much he adores her. Their engagement photos are filled with authentic emotion, natural movement, and the kind of love that feels both steady and joyful.

The Proposal: Awkward, Sweet, and Perfectly Them
When I asked about their proposal, Jamie and Joseph told the story with laughter which honestly feels like the best way to describe it.
Joseph took Jamie out to breakfast at a cozy European-style café before heading on a walk through Manito Park during the first snow of the year in early December. Snow falling, quiet paths, winter magic the scene was set.
Then came the moment.
Joseph turned to Jamie and told her he needed to tie his shoes…
(Important detail: he was wearing laceless cowboy boots.)
Jamie, understandably confused, stood there awkwardly wondering why she wasn’t allowed to watch him tie shoes that didn’t need tying. He asked her to turn around. When she did, Joseph was suddenly on one knee, holding the ring out.
As the tension built and he hadn’t said anything yet, Jamie trying not to laugh and failing finally said,
“You’re ridiculous.”
Joseph looked up at her and replied,
“Do you want to be ridiculous with me forever?”
She said YES.
A Wedding Day Full of Emotion and Joy
Jamie and Joseph’s wedding day at W10 Wedding Venue was overflowing with heartfelt moments from start to finish.
The weather seemed to reflect the emotions of the day light showers, dark clouds rolling through, and then bursts of sunshine during the reception. It felt symbolic somehow. A reminder that joy can shine through every season.
One of the most emotional moments of the entire day happened just before Jamie walked down the aisle. Joseph invited everyone present to pray over and bless their wedding rings. The room grew quiet, reverent, and deeply meaningful. It was such a beautiful expression of faith, community, and intention a moment that won’t be forgotten by anyone who witnessed it.
Dancing Through Life Together
Jamie and Joseph met swing dancing, and it showed.
Once the reception began, they danced their hearts out with their closest friends and family. Laughter filled the room, skirts twirled, and the joy was contagious. Their wedding wasn’t just a celebration — it was a reflection of who they are together: playful, connected, and fully present.
What they love about each other
Before the wedding, I asked Jamie and Joseph what they love most about one another. Their answers were heartfelt and incredibly telling.
Jamie on Joseph:
“I love Joe’s patience, kindness, and resilience. His ability to listen to me in both the good and bad moments of life. His willingness to be my teammate and support me as I support him in all things.”
Joseph on Jamie:
“How much time you got? I love all the cheesy things her smile, all her different laughs, the way light shines in her blue eyes like the stars over the ocean. I love her compassion and gentleness. I love her ability to smile and dance through the storms of life. I love her patience and willingness to have uncomfortable conversations and work through the tricky, nuanced parts of relationships. I love her focus, her whimsy, her humor, her support and the fact that I get to build a life with the most wonderful woman I’ve ever met.”
Behind the Scenes & Gratitude
This day wouldn’t have been captured the same way without the help of an incredible second photographer, who not only documented beautiful moments throughout the day but also grabbed a special behind-the-scenes photo of me working alongside Jamie and Joseph something I’ll always treasure.
